EBC Racing RP-X Series brake pads are engineered for dedicated track use and competitive racing environments where heat management is critical. The RP-X compound maintains an exceptionally stable friction coefficient of 0.55 mu at temperatures exceeding 850°C (1,560°F), providing consistent stopping power and predictable pedal feel throughout the duration of a race.

These pads feature advanced stainless steel back plates to reduce heat transfer to the calipers and utilize the revolutionary Nucap NRS mechanical retention system. This system uses hundreds of tiny hooks to bond the friction material to the backing plate, preventing pad delamination under extreme thermal stress. While aggressive on the track, the RP-X compound is designed to be kinder to brake discs than many competing race pads.
