The EBC Brakes S4 Series Brake Pad and Rotor Kit provides a comprehensive high-performance upgrade for the 1990-1994 Mazda Miata. Designed for spirited street use and highway driving, this kit replaces factory components with premium low-dust pads and fine-slotted rotors to improve thermal management and braking response without requiring modifications to the stock setup.
The included pads are constructed from an aramid fiber and ceramic granule compound, offering high-efficiency friction with minimal dust output. These pads feature a factory-applied Brake-in™ coating to accelerate the bedding process and ensure immediate stopping power after installation. For silent operation and consistent performance, the pads are fully shimmed, slotted, and chamfered.
Paired with the pads are EBC fine-slotted sport rotors cast from G3000 iron. The narrow slot design promotes silent operation while effectively degassing the pad surface and drawing cool air through the vented rotor. Every rotor is finished with a Geomet black anti-rust coating to maintain appearance and resist corrosion in harsh environments.
