The EBC Brakes S5 kit is a high-performance brake upgrade designed for heavy-duty street use on luxury sedans and sport SUVs. This matched set combines EBC flagship Yellowstuff pads with GD series wide-aperture slotted and dimpled rotors to significantly improve stopping power and thermal management over the factory setup. The Yellowstuff pads feature a high-friction GG rating for maximum initial bite and fade resistance, pre-fitted with shims, chamfers, and slots to minimize noise. Each pad is finished with a patented Brake-In coating to accelerate the seating process for immediate performance.

The included GD series rotors are cast from G3000 iron and feature wide-aperture slots and blind-drilled dimples. This design promotes airflow to keep temperatures low while effectively venting dust, gas, and debris from the pad contact patch. To ensure long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance, the rotors are finished with a Geomet anti-rust coating.
