The EBC Brakes S5 sport upgrade kit is a high-efficiency braking solution designed for fast street cars and high-horsepower luxury sedans. This matched set pairs EBC flagship GG-rated Yellowstuff high-friction pads with GD series wide-aperture slotted rotors to provide significantly increased stopping power and thermal management compared to stock setups.
Yellowstuff pads are fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted to minimize noise while maximizing initial bite. They feature a patented Brake-In™ coating to ensure rapid pad seating. The GD series rotors are cast from G3000 iron and utilize wide-aperture slots and spot drilling to pull cool air across the pad surface while effectively clearing dust, gas, and debris. Every rotor is finished with a Geomet anti-rust coating to maintain a clean appearance and resist corrosion on the hubs and vanes.
