The EBC S5 Brake Pad and Rotor Kit (MPN: S5KF1813) is a performance-oriented braking solution designed for superior stopping power and long-term durability. This kit features EBC upgrade pads and rotors treated with a specialized Thermic Black and Geomet anti-rust coating, ensuring your braking system remains resistant to corrosion even in harsh environments.
- Thermic Black Coating: A high-performance anti-corrosion layer that provides long-lasting resistance against rust in non-swept areas.
- Seamless Installation: The Thermic Black coating does not require removal with brake cleaner. The brake pads will naturally remove the coating from the swept area within the first 10 to 20 stops.
- S5 Series Upgrade: Engineered as a matched pad-and-rotor set to provide improved friction levels over standard OE components.
- Maintenance Note: Attempting to remove the rotor coating with chemicals is unnecessary and will void the EBC warranty.
Safety Warning: Do not install upgrade pads on the rear of the vehicle unless a corresponding upgrade has been fitted to the front to maintain proper brake bias.
