The EBC Brakes S5 Yellowstuff Brake Kit (S5KR1230) is a high-efficiency sport upgrade designed for aggressive street use and high-horsepower applications. This matched kit combines EBC’s flagship Yellowstuff high-friction pads with GD series wide-aperture rotors to provide maximum stopping power and superior thermal management. It is a direct-fit replacement for the stock setup, requiring no modifications for installation.
The Yellowstuff pads are GG-rated for high friction and come fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted. They feature EBC's patented Brake-In coating to accelerate pad seating. The accompanying GD series rotors are cast from G3000 alloy and feature wide-aperture slots and spot drilling to effectively clear gas, dust, and debris while pulling cool air across the braking surface. For long-term durability, the rotors are finished with a Geomet anti-rust coating to prevent corrosion in non-contact areas.
