The EBC Brakes S5 Kit is a high-performance brake upgrade designed for fast street use, SUVs, and light trucks requiring maximum stopping power. This comprehensive kit bundles EBC Yellowstuff high-friction pads with GD Series wide-aperture slotted rotors to reduce brake fade and improve thermal management during spirited driving or heavy-duty use. The direct-fit design ensures a straightforward installation without modifications to the factory setup.
The included Yellowstuff pads feature a GG friction rating for immediate bite and are fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted to minimize noise. Each pad is finished with a patented Brake-In coating to accelerate the seating process. Paired with G3000 cast iron GD Series rotors, the system utilizes wide-aperture slots and blind-drilled dimples to pull cool air across the friction surface while venting dust, gases, and debris. A Geomet anti-rust coating provides long-lasting corrosion resistance on the non-friction surfaces of the rotors.
