The EBC Brakes S5 Series kit is a high-performance braking upgrade designed for SUVs, light trucks, and fast street cars that require maximum stopping power and heat management. This matched set pairs EBC flagship Yellowstuff high-friction pads with GD series wide-aperture dimpled and slotted rotors to significantly reduce brake fade and improve initial bite under demanding conditions.

The included Yellowstuff pads carry a GG friction rating and feature a shimmed, chamfered, and slotted construction for noise reduction. They are finished with EBC’s patented Brake-In coating to ensure rapid pad seating. The GD series rotors are cast from G3000 iron and feature wide-aperture slots and blind-drilled dimples that pull cool air over the braking surface while clearing dust, gases, and debris. A Geomet anti-rust coating protects the non-contact surfaces from corrosion.
