The EBC S5 kit combines flagship Yellowstuff high-friction pads with GD series wide-aperture rotors to solve the problem of brake fade during spirited driving or heavy hauling. The Yellowstuff pads feature a GG friction rating for immediate cold bite and high-temperature stability. They are fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted to minimize noise, and finished with a patented Brake-In coating for rapid pad seating right out of the box.

The included GD series rotors are cast from G3000 iron and feature wide-aperture slots and spot-drilled dimples. Unlike through-drilled rotors, this design provides superior degassing and debris removal without compromising structural integrity. Each rotor is finished with a Geomet anti-rust coating to maintain a clean appearance and prevent corrosion on non-contact surfaces.
