The EBC S5 Brake Pad and Rotor Kit (S5KF1279) is a high-efficiency sport upgrade designed to deliver maximum braking performance for the 2007-2013 Mazda 3. This kit combines EBC’s flagship Yellowstuff high-friction pads with GD series wide-aperture slotted rotors to reduce brake fade and improve thermal management during spirited street driving or heavy-duty SUV use.
- Yellowstuff Pads: Features a GG-rated high-friction compound for maximum stopping power. These pads are fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted, and include a patented Brake-In coating for accelerated pad seating.
- GD Series Rotors: Manufactured from G3000 cast iron, these wide-aperture, spot-drilled, and slotted vented sport rotors effectively clear dust, gas, and debris while maintaining cooler operating temperatures.
- Corrosion Protection: Finished with a Geomet anti-rust coating to maintain a clean appearance and prevent oxidation on non-friction surfaces.
- Direct Fitment: Engineered as a direct replacement for factory components with no modifications required to the stock setup.
- Included Components: Kit includes front brake pads, GD series rotors, and caliper lubricant.
