The EBC Brakes S5 Series kit is a high-performance brake upgrade designed for heavy SUVs, trucks, and fast street cars requiring maximum stopping power. This kit pairs EBC Yellowstuff high-friction pads with GD series wide-aperture slotted rotors to significantly reduce brake fade and improve thermal management under demanding conditions. The Yellowstuff pads feature a GG friction rating and are fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted to minimize noise while providing immediate bite.

The included GD series rotors are cast from G3000 iron and feature wide-aperture slots and spot-drilling to facilitate rapid cooling and the removal of dust, gas, and debris. Each rotor is finished with a Geomet anti-rust coating to maintain a clean appearance and prevent corrosion on non-contact surfaces.
