The EBC S9 Stage 9 kit is a high-performance brake upgrade designed for street and track use, combining EBC's flagship Yellowstuff high-friction pads with USR fine-slotted sport rotors. This combination offers superior stopping power compared to stock setups and reduces wind noise compared to more aggressive S5 kits, making it an ideal choice for enthusiasts who want maximum brake effect without excessive resonance.
The included Yellowstuff pads are GG-rated for high friction and feature a patented Brake-in coating for rapid pad seating after installation. Each pad is fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted to minimize vibration. These are paired with USR series rotors, which feature a fine-slotted pattern to vent gas and dust while maintaining a smooth, quiet pedal feel. The rotors are finished with a Geomet anti-rust coating to maintain a clean appearance and prevent corrosion on non-contact surfaces.
