The EBC Brakes S9 Yellowstuff Brake Pad and Rotor Kit is a high-performance braking upgrade designed for 2002-2006 Acura RSX Type-S and 2006-2015 Honda Civic Si and MUGEN Si models. This kit pairs EBC Yellowstuff high-friction pads with rotors featuring a specialized Thermic Black anti-corrosion coating for long-lasting resistance against rust and road salt.
- Yellowstuff High Friction Pads: Engineered for superior stopping power and thermal stability under demanding driving conditions.
- Thermic Black Rotors: Provides a protective barrier against oxidation. The coating in the pad swept area is designed to be removed naturally by the pads within the first 10 to 20 stops.
- Corrosion Resistance: Ideal for vehicles in harsh environments where rust frequently affects rotor appearance and performance.
- Installation Note: Do not use brake cleaner to remove the Thermic Black coating before installation; doing so will void the warranty.
