Over decades, the factory rubber coupler degrades, resulting in a vague, mushy steering feel. This replacement is engineered from proprietary Hyper-Flex polyurethane, providing a much firmer and more direct connection between the steering column and the rack. Unlike OEM rubber, this polyurethane component is impervious to oil, road chemicals, and ozone, ensuring it won't rot or soften over time.
