The Exedy Stage 1 Organic Racing Clutch kit (15803) is engineered for street performance and light track applications. This kit utilizes premium friction materials designed to resist slippage and burst while handling the increased torque of modified engines. By increasing the clamp load over the factory unit, this clutch provides the capacity needed for higher horsepower without sacrificing the smooth engagement and drivability expected in a daily driver.
Each Stage 1 clutch disc features a sprung center damper to effectively reduce drivetrain shock and vibration. While pedal effort is slightly higher than a stock setup due to the increased pressure plate clamp load, the engagement remains predictable and linear.
