Constructed from a durable steel core laminate, this gasket provides a reliable seal even on imperfect sealing surfaces found in the real-world repair environment.
At the heart of the Fel-Pro 1002 is a specialized wire ring design, inserted within stainless steel armor surrounding each cylinder. This architecture concentrates sealing force around the combustion chamber, delivering approximately three times the sealing force of standard head gaskets to ensure maximum combustion seal strength under load.
