The Fidanza aluminum flywheel (MPN 143261) is engineered to reduce rotational mass, delivering significantly faster throttle response and improved acceleration. By weighing 40-60% less than stock cast-iron units, this flywheel lowers the engine's Moment of Inertia (MOI), allowing the powertrain to free up horsepower that was previously lost to parasitic drag.
Built for durability and performance, the body is CNC-machined from high-tensile 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 billet aluminum. It features a replaceable friction plate made from heat-treated steel, providing optimum clutch grip and long-term serviceability. Rather than resurfacing the entire unit, the bolt-on friction surface can be replaced during clutch swaps, extending the life of the flywheel indefinitely.
