The factory turbo oil supply on 2001-2016 Duramax engines is sourced from the #4 cam journal bearing. This design is inherently risky; if the cam bearing shifts or "slips," it can restrict or completely block oil flow, leading to immediate and costly turbocharger failure. This kit solves the problem by rerouting the oil supply directly from the main oil galley rifle on the engine block.

By drawing oil from the block rifle, you provide the turbocharger with a high-volume supply that is independent of cam bearing position, preventing premature bearing wear and extending the life of your turbo. The kit includes a smooth-bore Teflon hose for maximum flexibility and heat resistance, high-quality AN fittings, and the necessary plugs to seal the original factory feed port.
