The Fox 2.5 Performance Series IFP (Internal Floating Piston) HTO shocks are designed to provide consistent, fade-resistant damping for heavy-duty trucks in demanding off-road environments. These shocks feature a large-diameter 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, which dissipates heat more effectively than standard steel bodies while providing superior corrosion resistance. The integrated Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston provides a controlled cushion at the end of the extension stroke, preventing harsh bottoming out and protecting the suspension during full droop travel.

Inside, the internal floating piston separates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, eliminating oil aeration and ensuring the velocity-sensitive damping remains predictable over rough terrain. This shock is fully serviceable and can be re-tuned or rebuilt to maintain performance for the life of the vehicle.
