The Fox 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP rear shock (MPN 980-24-642) is engineered to enhance off-road capability while maintaining on-road comfort. The 2.0-inch metal-impacted 6061-T6 aluminum body provides superior heat dissipation—up to four times faster than conventional steel shocks—ensuring consistent damping under demanding conditions. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) technology separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas, preventing aeration and ensuring fade-free performance on the trail.
