The Fox 2.5 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP HTO shock is designed to provide professional-grade damping for heavy-duty trucks. The larger 2.5-inch diameter impact-extruded aluminum body offers significantly higher oil capacity and heat dissipation compared to smaller shocks, reducing fade during demanding off-road use or heavy towing. This model features a Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston to manage extension forces and an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) to keep the high-pressure nitrogen gas separate from the oil, preventing aeration.

Constructed with a race-developed high-flow piston and application-specific valving, these shocks deliver a controlled, connected ride that minimizes vehicle sway on the pavement while maximizing drop-out travel off-road. The clear-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum body is resistant to corrosion and built to endure harsh environments. Every component is fully rebuildable and re-tunable, ensuring a lifetime of consistent performance.
