The Fox 2.0 Performance Series Remote Reservoir (R/R) smooth body shock (MPN: 985-24-259) is engineered to handle the demands of heavy-duty trucks while providing a connected, controlled ride. By utilizing an external reservoir system, this shock increases oil and nitrogen capacity, significantly improving heat dissipation and preventing damping fade during long periods of off-road use or heavy towing. The shock body is constructed from 2.0-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum, which dissipates heat four times faster than conventional steel bodies.

Equipped with a race-developed high-flow piston and an internal floating piston (IFP), this setup separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas to eliminate aeration. The application-specific valving is tuned to reduce vehicle sway and improve drop-out travel. Every unit is fully serviceable and built with CNC-machined components for a lifetime of performance.
