The Fox Performance Series 2.5 Smooth Body IFP (Internal Floating Piston) rear shock provides the increased damping and heat dissipation needed for off-road control without compromising on-road ride quality. Designed for trucks with 0-2 inches of rear lift, this shock utilizes a larger 2.5-inch diameter body to increase oil capacity and cooling surface area, effectively reducing shock fade during aggressive use. The internal floating piston separates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, preventing aeration and ensuring consistent damping performance across varied terrain.

Each shock is built with a 6061-T6 impact-extruded aluminum body to dissipate heat four times faster than conventional steel shocks. For long-term durability and maintenance, these units are fully rebuildable and re-tunable, featuring corrosion-resistant plating and a hard chrome-plated shaft designed to withstand harsh environments.
