The Fox 2.0 Performance Series 5in Smooth Body IFP shock (985-24-002) is engineered to transform your vehicle's ride by combining off-road predictability with on-road comfort. Featuring an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design, this shock separates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, eliminating oil aeration and ensuring consistent, fade-free damping performance even in demanding conditions.
Constructed with a 2.0-inch metal-impacted 6061-T6 aluminum body, this shock dissipates heat significantly faster than traditional steel-body shocks. The zinc-plated finish and black-anodized CNC-machined components provide high corrosion resistance, while the heat-treated, Teflon-lined spherical bearings ensure long-term durability. Designed for standard travel applications with eyelet ends, these shocks are 100% serviceable and tunable for a custom-tailored ride.
