The Fox 2.5 Factory Series Air Shock (980-02-243) is engineered to provide high-capacity damping and an adjustable spring rate in a single, compact unit for custom off-road builds. This 16-inch travel shock utilizes an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) to separate the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the Fox Racing Oil, preventing aeration and ensuring fade-free performance during high-speed desert runs or technical rock crawling.

Construction features a 2.5-inch seamless alloy steel body with a durable zinc plating for superior heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. The massive 1-5/8 inch hard-chromed 4130 alloy steel shaft is designed to handle extreme side-loading and impacts. CNC-machined black anodized aluminum components and hourglass bushings provide the necessary strength and articulation for maximum suspension travel without binding.
