The Fox 2.5 Performance Series shock is engineered to enhance the off-road capability of your heavy-duty truck by extending drop-out travel while maintaining superior on-road comfort. Built with a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, this shock dissipates heat four times more effectively than traditional steel-bodied shocks. The internal floating piston (IFP) design isolates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, preventing aeration and ensuring fade-resistant performance under demanding conditions.

This application-specific tuned shock utilizes high-flow velocity-sensitive damping and a hydraulic top-out (HTO) piston for controlled movement throughout the entire suspension stroke. The Type II clear-anodized finish provides excellent corrosion resistance, and the 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft is designed for long-term durability in harsh environments.
