The Fox 2.5 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP HTO shock is engineered to improve off-road capability and on-road comfort for heavy-duty trucks. By utilizing a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, this shock dissipates heat four times faster than conventional steel components, significantly reducing fade during high-load scenarios. The internal floating piston (IFP) design physically separates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, preventing aeration and ensuring consistent, velocity-sensitive damping across varied terrain.

This specific HTO model features a Hydraulic Top Out piston, providing a controlled feel at the limit of the shock's travel to reduce harsh impacts during suspension extension. Designed for vehicles with 0 to 1 inch of rear lift, these shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable, offering a long-term suspension solution that can be serviced to maintain peak performance.
