The Fox Performance Series 2.5 Smooth Body IFP HTO shock (MPN: 987-24-011) delivers high-performance damping and superior heat dissipation for heavy-duty trucks. Built with a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, this shock dissipates heat four times faster than traditional steel alternatives. It features an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) to eliminate oil aeration by separating the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, combined with a Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston to manage extension forces during aggressive travel.
