The Fox Performance Series 2.5 Smooth Body IFP HTO shock is engineered to enhance off-road capability by increasing drop-out travel while maintaining precise on-road handling. Built with a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, this shock dissipates heat four times faster than conventional steel components, ensuring consistent damping performance even under heavy use. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design isolates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the oil, preventing aeration and oil foaming to maintain fade-resistant control.

This shock features a Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston to manage the end of the extension stroke, providing a smoother transition and protecting the internal components during aggressive suspension cycling. The application-specific valving is tuned to reduce vehicle sway and provide a connected, performance-minded ride quality. These shocks are fully serviceable, rebuildable, and re-tunable for a long service life on or off the trail.
