The Fox 2.5 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP HTO shock is engineered to provide superior heat dissipation and consistent damping for trucks with a 2-3.5 inch rear lift. The 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body provides four times the cooling capacity of traditional steel bodies, significantly reducing fade during extended off-road use. Featuring a race-developed high-flow piston and a dedicated Internal Floating Piston (IFP), this shock separates oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas to prevent aeration and ensure predictable handling.

Equipped with a Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston, this shock manages the end of the extension stroke to prevent harsh clunking during aggressive suspension cycling. The clear-anodized Type II finish protects against corrosion in harsh environments, while the 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft provides the strength needed for heavy-duty applications.
