The Fox Performance Series 2.5 Smooth Body IFP (Internal Floating Piston) shock delivers increased damping capacity and superior heat management compared to standard 2.0-inch shocks. Designed for truck owners who demand consistent performance during off-road use without sacrificing on-road comfort, these shocks utilize a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body to dissipate heat four times faster than conventional steel shocks. The internal floating piston separates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, preventing aeration and oil foaming for fade-free damping in harsh terrain.

Each shock is equipped with a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft and high-flow velocity-sensitive damping for a controlled, connected ride. These units are fully rebuildable and re-tunable, ensuring a lifetime of serviceability. The Type II clear-anodized finish provides a durable barrier against corrosion in salt and debris-heavy environments.
