The Fox 2.5 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP HTO shock is engineered to deliver professional-grade damping for heavy-duty trucks. Built with a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, this shock dissipates heat four times more effectively than conventional steel-bodied alternatives, ensuring consistent performance during extended off-road use. The internal floating piston (IFP) architecture separates high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, eliminating aeration and oil foaming for fade-resistant damping.

This specific HTO model features a Hydraulic Top Out piston, designed to control the end of the extension stroke and prevent harsh bottom-out or top-out sensations when navigating rough terrain. The velocity-sensitive valving is application-specific, providing a connected on-road feel with significantly reduced vehicle sway while maximizing drop-out travel for off-road articulation.
