The Fox 2.5 Performance Series HD IFP rear shock is engineered to increase the off-road capability and on-road stability of your 2024-2026 Ford Ranger. Featuring a massive 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, these shocks dissipate heat four times more effectively than traditional steel bodies, providing fade-resistant performance during heavy-duty use or extended off-road sessions. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design isolates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, preventing aeration and ensuring consistent velocity-sensitive damping.
Each shock is application-specific and valved for the Ranger to reduce vehicle sway and improve wheel travel. The 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated shaft and Type II clear-anodized finish ensure long-term durability and corrosion resistance. Designed as a direct replacement for 0-1 inch lift applications, these units are fully rebuildable and re-tunable for a lifetime of service.
