The Fox 2.5 Performance Series Front Coilover (MPN: 987-02-015) is designed to increase off-road capability by extending drop-out travel while maintaining superior on-road comfort. Built with a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, this coilover dissipates heat four times more effectively than conventional steel shocks, ensuring consistent, fade-resistant performance in demanding environments. The internal floating piston (IFP) design isolates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, preventing aeration and ensuring predictable damping across any terrain.

Each unit features a hydraulic top-out (HTO) piston and application-specific valving to reduce vehicle sway and provide a connected feel. For long-term reliability, the assembly is fully rebuildable and re-tunable, featuring a 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft and Type II clear-anodized plating for maximum corrosion resistance.
