The Fox 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP shock (MPN: 985-24-083) is designed to transform your vehicle's performance by increasing off-road control and improving on-road comfort. This bolt-on upgrade features an internal floating piston (IFP) mono-tube design that separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration, ensuring consistent, fade-resistant damping even in demanding terrain.
The shock body is constructed from metal-impacted aluminum, which dissipates heat four times faster than conventional steel shocks for superior temperature management. Built to endure harsh environments, it utilizes a redundant sealing system and Teflon-lined heat-treated spherical bearings for long-lasting, smooth operation.
