Fits 1997-2004 Ford F-150 and F-150 Heritage 2WD models (Select Submodels). This Fox 2.0 Performance Series front shock is engineered to increase off-road capability and provide a controlled on-road ride by effectively managing vehicle sway and maximizing suspension travel. The internal floating piston (IFP) mono-tube design separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, eliminating oil aeration and ensuring fade-resistant performance even in harsh conditions.
Constructed with a 2.0-inch metal-impacted 6061-T6 aluminum body, this shock dissipates heat four times faster than traditional steel-bodied shocks. The 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft and race-developed high-flow piston design provide consistent damping across the 6.1 inches of travel. Designed for trucks with 1 to 3 inches of front lift, this shock replaces the factory unit using existing mounting points.
