Fits 2002-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX models equipped with Mitsubishi TD04 turbochargers.
The GFB Internal Wastegate Actuator (WGA) is engineered to provide precise boost control with a focus on authority and adjustability. Utilizing an industry-first Silicone/Nomex diaphragm with a specialized bead retention design, this actuator achieves the largest possible effective surface area within a compact outside diameter. This design allows for superior control over the wastegate flap, effectively eliminating boost fluctuations and improving turbo response.
Unlike standard actuators, the GFB 7304 features a unique pivoting rod guide machined from PEEK, a high-performance engineering polymer. This encapsulated spherical guide reduces friction and wear while maintaining a low-profile actuator body. For tuning, the integrated turnbuckle adjustment allows for fast spring pre-load changes without the need to remove the actuator or swap springs manually, saving significant time on the dyno or in the garage.
