Fits select 1997-2001 Ford Explorer and 1998-2001 Mercury Mountaineer (4.0L). This Gibson single-exit cat-back system is designed to provide reliable performance gains and an aggressive exhaust note without excessive interior drone.
Built from 2.5-inch stainless steel mandrel-bent tubing, this system features the Gibson Superflow Superflow™ muffler. The baffled and chambered muffler design utilizes no internal packing that can blow out over time, ensuring a consistent sound for the life of the vehicle. The system exits straight out the rear and is finished with a polished stainless steel slash-cut tip. Installation is a straightforward bolt-on process using factory-style hangers and included hardware.
