Fits 2018+ Subaru WRX STI models equipped with the factory 6-piston Brembo brake system. These high-performance 2-piece rotors are designed as a direct replacement for the heavy factory units, offering significant reductions in unsprung weight and rotating mass to improve handling and acceleration.
The GiroDisc A1-185 system utilizes a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum center hat paired with a proprietary high-carbon iron disc. This floating design allows the friction surface to expand and contract independently of the hat when subjected to extreme heat, preventing the rotor warping and pedal pulsation common in single-piece designs. The internal 48-vane curved structure acts as a centrifugal pump, pulling cool air through the rotor to maintain consistent stopping power during aggressive driving or track sessions.
