GiroDisc 2-piece rotors are designed as a high-performance replacement for vehicles equipped with the Essex/AP Racing Big Brake Kit. These rotors feature a high-carbon iron disc for maximum thermal stability and a 6061-T6 aluminum hat to reduce unsprung weight. The curved-vane design acts as a centrifugal pump, pulling cooling air through the rotor to manage track-level temperatures. The slotted friction surface continuously clears gas and brake dust, ensuring consistent bite and preventing pad glazing during aggressive driving.
