Fits 1999-2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, VII, VIII, and IX. These GiroDisc Slotted Front Rotors (A1-008) are engineered as a direct replacement for the factory discs, providing a significant upgrade in thermal capacity and braking consistency. The slotted friction surface effectively channels away heat, water, and brake dust to maintain a clean interface between the pad and rotor, preventing glazing and brake fade during aggressive driving or track sessions.
By utilizing a 2-piece design with high-strength aluminum hats and cast iron rings, these rotors reduce unsprung weight at the corners of the vehicle. This reduction in rotating mass leads to improved suspension response and sharper handling. These units are designed to work seamlessly with the factory Brembo calipers while offering superior cooling efficiency compared to standard one-piece rotors.
