The Granatelli 160 Degree Thermostat is a direct-replacement performance upgrade for GM LS-based engines. By opening at a lower temperature than the factory unit, this thermostat allows coolant to circulate through the radiator earlier, effectively lowering the engine's operating temperature. This is essential for high-performance applications, heavy towing, or vehicles operating in high-ambient-heat environments where thermal management is critical.
