The GReddy Type FV2 (Floating Valve) Universal Blow Off Valve represents the latest evolution in turbocharger pressure management. This unit features a unique floating valve design that prevents the valve from opening prematurely under high vacuum conditions, such as idling or light throttle, which effectively eliminates stalling and erratic idle issues common with lesser valves.
Built with a CNC-machined aluminum body, the Type FV2 utilizes a dual-spring system and an adjustable top hat to fine-tune the discharge timing. This ensures rapid valve response and high flow capacity to protect your turbocharger from compressor surge during gear shifts and sudden deceleration. Because it is a universal component, this BOV requires a vehicle-specific adapter or weld-on flange for installation.
