The GrimmSpeed V2 Turbo Heat Shield (MPN 092007) is engineered to manage the intense radiant heat generated by the turbocharger, preventing heat soak into the intercooler and surrounding engine bay components. By containing this thermal energy, the V2 shield helps maintain lower intake temperatures and protects sensitive electronics and hoses from premature failure. This revised design offers enhanced coverage and specifically accommodates the larger diameters found on most aftermarket downpipes.
