The Hawk Performance DTC-60 compound is a high-torque, high-temperature race pad designed for drivers who demand consistent deceleration and superior modulation. These front brake pads feature a one-piece design, which replaces the factory multi-padlet configuration. This conversion provides a larger continuous surface area for more uniform pressure distribution across the rotor face and improved pad wear during aggressive track sessions.
The DTC-60 compound is specifically engineered for circuit racing and heavy-braking environments where high initial bite and temperature resistance are critical. It offers excellent release characteristics and works effectively for vehicles requiring high deceleration rates without the aggressive torque spike seen in higher-level compounds.
