The Hawk Performance LTS (Light Truck and SUV) braking compound is engineered to provide superior stopping power for heavier vehicles. Designed to bridge the gap between standard replacement pads and heavy-duty performance, the LTS compound utilizes a unique ferro-carbon formulation that offers a higher coefficient of friction than original equipment. This results in an estimated 20% to 40% increase in stopping power and significantly improved resistance to brake fade under heavy loads or repeated braking cycles.
