Hawk Performance HPS 5.0 (High Performance Street) brake pads bridge the gap between track-day performance and daily drivability. Engineered with a specialized ferro-carbon compound, these pads provide a significant upgrade over factory components, offering 20 to 40 percent more stopping power and increased resistance to brake fade during spirited driving.
The HPS 5.0 compound (HB850B.655) is designed to deliver high friction and torque across a broad temperature range. By maintaining a more consistent pedal feel and predictable response, these pads allow drivers to push closer to the limits of their ABS system without the noise or excessive dust typically associated with high-friction pads.
