The Hawk Performance HPS (High Performance Street) compound is engineered to increase the stopping power of street-legal vehicles without the noise and dust often associated with race pads. By utilizing a ferro-carbon formula, these pads provide a 20 to 40 percent increase in stopping power and a higher coefficient of friction over standard OE replacement pads. The HPS compound is specifically designed to remain fade-resistant and provide a consistent pedal feel, even under the increased thermal loads of spirited driving.
