The Hellwig EZ-990 Helper Spring kit is a medium-duty suspension upgrade designed to improve vehicle control and stability while hauling or towing. These springs provide up to 2,000 lbs of level load-carrying capacity, effectively reducing rear-end sag and preventing bottoming out. Manufactured from heat-treated ASTM 5160 alloy spring steel in California, these units are built for durability and consistent performance under load.
The EZ-990 features a step-bracket style leaf design that bolts directly to the factory leaf pack using common hand tools. The included heavy-duty U-bolts allow for independent side-to-side adjustment, making it easy to compensate for uneven loads or changing towing requirements. This kit includes all necessary powder-coated and plated hardware for a complete installation.
