The Hellwig 7181 rear sway bar is a performance-oriented suspension upgrade designed to reduce body roll and improve lateral stability on heavy-duty GM vans. Constructed from 1-1/4 inch solid, heat-treated chromoly steel, this sway bar provides the increased torsional stiffness required for high-center-of-gravity vehicles, especially those used for towing or heavy hauling. By better distributing weight across the rear axle during cornering, it enhances driver control and overall vehicle safety.
